Remove Bacteria

The dentist always says to brush your teeth twice a day: once in the morning and once at night. It’s really important to brush in the morning because you need to get rid of the bacteria that gathered in your mouth while you slept. Plus, it feels great to have fresh breath when you start your day. But the dentist doesn’t mention when exactly to brush. So, should you brush before or after eating your food?

Before Or After?

Guess what? It’s actually better to brush your teeth before breakfast. Surprising, isn’t it? When you brush after eating, especially if it was something sweet or sour, you could harm your teeth. Brushing immediately after consuming sugary or acidic foods can damage your tooth enamel and increase the risk of cavities. If you don’t want to brush before breakfast but still want fresh breath, wait for thirty minutes after eating before brushing. That’s much safer for your teeth! And if you’re in a hurry, you can use mouthwash instead.
