5. Charles Grodin

Charles Grodin was born into a Jewish family that followed Orthodox traditions in Pennsylvania. He began his studies at The University of Miami but stopped in order to pursue his dream of acting. During the 1960s, he was featured in various television programs. He achieved much notoriety with his leading role in The Heartbreak Kid in 1972, due to which he was given the Golden Globe Award. Between the years 1995 and 1998, he hosted his own talk show, The Charles Grodin Show.
