A devoted modder in Massachusetts has made the world’s smallest Nintendo 64, as per the Guinness World Records.
Created by Gunnar Turnquist, the smaller than expected comfort quantifies in at simply 3.3″ x 4.64″ x 1.77″ (8.3cm x 11.78cm x 4.49cm). For setting, a N64 typically would quantify 2.87″ (72.9 mm) tall, 10.23″ (259.8 mm) wide and 7.48″ (190 mm) deep.
Speaking to Guinness, Turnquist noticed that he experienced difficulty managing down the N64’s motherboard to its little estimate. To ensure the motherboard would stay useful during this shrinkage, Turnquist said he needed to painstakingly plan the associations and revamp the circuits.
Ultimately, he had the option to make it work and mess around like Pokémon Snap, Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire and, normally, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
