A number of Google Pixel telephones in Canada and the U.S. were hit with a Daylight Saving Time update bug on March 14th.
Some Google Pixel devices didn’t update and hop ahead an hour once Daylight Saving Time began Sunday morning. Albeit the bug is awkward, it can, luckily, be fixed with a fast reboot.
Users who experienced the bug took to Reddit to report the bug subsequent to seeing that their telephones didn’t bounce from 2am to 3am.
9to5Google reports that for certain clients, the issue enacted the Google Clock application’s ‘Programmed home clock’ highlight where a clock for your home time is added when you’re going in a region with an alternate time region. Clients saw the right time in the Clock application however not for the system.
Those who encountered the bug note that their devices were set to the default ‘network-gave time’ and ‘time region’ inclination in their settings.
