Walden desires a woman who values him for more than his wealth, and he crosses paths with Kate while at the mall. To gauge her true intentions, he concocts a fabricated story, feigning poverty. Secretly, he invests in Kate’s clothing line, ultimately leading her to pursue her dreams in New York. Struggling with her decision to abstain from their relationship, he decides to fly to New York, intending to reveal the truth as a surprise. Initially, Kate reacts with anger and ends their relationship, but later, she comes to the realization that her success is indebted to Walden.

Brooke D’Orsay made her first appearance in the 2001 comedy “Why Can’t I Be a Movie Star?” Following that, she took on roles in “Everybody’s Doing It” and “The Skulls 3.” Her performance in “The Skulls” earned her a nomination for a DVD Exclusive Award. In the short film “Room 10,” directed by Jennifer Aniston and Andrea Buchanan, Brooke shared the screen with Robin Wright Penn and Kris Kristofferson. Notably, Brooke showcased her versatility by performing as a dancer with the music group “Rise.” Today, she resides in both Toronto and Los Angeles, proudly representing her Canadian roots.
