A Knife
You only need a knife, which you likely already have if you’re cooking dinner. Here’s a simple trick for you to try: Place the garlic clove on a cutting board, sideways if possible. Take the flat part of the knife and put it on top of the clove. Make sure to keep your fingers away from the sharp edge. Apply some pressure with your hand until the clove breaks. Once it cracks, you can remove the knife. The skin of the garlic will have cracked as well, so you can easily peel it off without any frustration or anger!

Whole Bulb
If you’re getting ready to cook a big dinner and need to use the whole garlic bulb, it can be a hassle to peel each clove individually. But don’t worry, there’s a clever trick you can use. According to @olicares.barce on TikTok, you can try the knife trick with the whole bulb too. Simply cut the bulb in half horizontally, place it on a cutting board with the cut side down, and gently hit it with the side of a large knife. Apply some pressure if necessary, and ta-da! All the cloves will come out of their skin, making it easy for you to prepare a delicious meal for your loved ones.
